Eddie Peabody 1920's recordings now available to download.

My dear friends.
The Eddie Peabody recordings project has been a long while in the making and I'm proud to announce that with the gracious permission of George Peabody (Eddie's son) the entire collection of 1920's & 30's recordings are available to download. These two albums were originaly intended as a gift to Eddie from Lowell Schreyer in 1970 but fate took him away before the project was completed.
Despite the historical significance of the recordings I was not able to interest a record company to release them on CD so after years of the collection being heard by only a select few it can now once again be heard publicly and they will hopefully inspire present and future generations of plectrum banjo players. The recordings took an entire week to digitaly restore and although they may not be up to modern standards the musically and phenonimal musicianship shines through. Click here to see what I mean.
Best wishes,
Sean.
