Sully's Banjo Festival, August 29th to Sept 1st, 2005

Tony Sullivan is holding his banjo enthusiasts' gathering this year in Garrison (village), Co Fermanagh, BT93 4AE, Northern Ireland.The usual informal and relaxed style prevails: a chance for enthusiasts to talk at length about their enduringly popular instrument, play and swap tunes - and buy some goodies from the shop where Sully's Banjos, publications and banjo parts will be on sale. There is an exhibition of lutherie with displays of fine hand-made banjos by Sully. Workshops or lessons are available on request: Irish tenor, folk 5-string, jazz/singalong tenor.It is held in St Mary's Church Hall during the afternoons, (Free admission); and in the pubs for sessions at night.
