Sheps Banjo Boys, the legendary banjo group famous in the UK for appearances on television programmes such as "The Comedians" and "Wheeltappers and Shunters Club" celebrate 40 years in the business this year. They are making this a special occasion by appearing in Shep's home city of Manchester on Wednesday Novermber 26, at 8pm at the Forum Hall, Simonway, Manchester M22 5RX. Het jaarlijkse Jazz Banjo Festival voor jazz banjoisten wordt op zondag 9 november gehouden in Gebouw / JazzPlace Artishock / Steenhoffstraat 46a - 3764 BM Soest.
Van 12-19 uur zullen daar meer dan 100 banjoisten elkaar treffen, samen jammen en luisteren naar enkele top banjoisten.
Speciale gasten zijn Europas top banjoisten Peter Bayerer en Achim Hippenstiel.
